VCX to Street 8 Cal-Vista Titles in February
LAS VEGAS — VCX is slated to release another eight blockbuster Cal-Vista Classics from the vaults of the Golden Age in the month of February, with movies starring legendary stars including Serena, Kay Parker, Penthouse Pet Brigitte Maier, Rene Bond and Samantha Fox.
The company’s Cal-Vista Classics line also garnered a AAAAA AVN review for its re-relase of “Eruption.” A rarity even with High Definition titles, the 5-A’s marks the third time in two years that a VCX Classic release has garnered such a decoration. An adult homage to “From Here to Eternity,” “Eruption” includes a stunning re-creation of the mainstream movie’s beach scene with Laslie Bovee and John Holmes. Of the 176 total Cal-Vista Classics titles, 113 of them had never been on DVD. These eight February releases bring the total of Cal Vista Classics on DVD to 90.
“We’re not doing a chop-shop treatment to these important classics.
Many of these titles won or were nominated for best picture and many other awards, and we’re going to do them justice, even if it takes a while,” said VCXpresident David Sutton.
The four X-rated Cal-Vista Classics slated for release on Feb. 17 are “Lorelei,” “Pleasure Palace,” “The Second Coming of Eva” and “The Other Side of Julie.”

headlines the cast of director Jack Remy’s “Lorelei.” Parker, the owner and designer of a lingerie company, can’t keep her hands out of her pants or anyone else’s. The models she employs — including Lois Ayres, Scarlet Scarleau and Rikki Blake — can’t keep their clothes on either.
“Pleasure Palace” which stars Golden Age icons Serena and Veri Knotty is a tale of gangsters taking over massage parlors and the sexy goings-on in the establishments. A favorite of director Carter Stevens, the movie is noted for its high production values and strong storyline.
Eva is sent to boarding school by her sister in “The Second Coming of Eva,” for her moral instruction, but anything but morals are instilled in this school girl by this X-rated institution. Smoking ’70s Penthouse Pet Brigitte Maier is featured in this film, in addition to Teresa Svenson, Monica Anders and Suzy Anderson.
In a reversal of roles, John Leslie and Joey Silvera own an escort service that caters to women in “The Other Side of Julie.” However, Leslie’s wife, Suzanne French, is unaware of her husband’s line of work. Once the truth comes to light, French is exposed to Leslie’s libertine lifestyle and embraces her own budding sexuality. Critics hailed the movie, and single out the Justine Heller/John Leslie pairing and the French, Paula Wain and Leslie 3-Way as the best of the movie’s 12 hardcore scenes.
Another four sizzling Cal-Vista Classics from the ’70s hit the street on Feb. 24 — “Angel Above – Devil Below,” “French Teen,” “Here Comes the Bride,” and “Little Angel Puss.”
Winning praise such as “superbly elegant,” from Adam Film World and “We dare you to see this masterpiece,” wide-eyed, big boobed blonde Rene Bond leads a cast that includes Linda York, Maria Arnold and Starlyn Simone. “Angel Above, Devil Below” is an X-rated take on “The Exorcist,” but blazes its own following with its raw and hardcore scenes.
“French Teen” is another classic that doesn’t slouch on the X-rated action with a total of 10 total sex scenes. The cast is headlined by Hall of Fame performer Sharon Mitchell, as well as Jacqueline Matine, Susaye London and Paula Morton.
“Here Comes the Bride” stars fine ’70s vixen and Hall of Famer Samantha Fox, as well as Clea Carson, Colleen Anderson, Karen Havens, Paula Morton and Vee Summers.
Directed by Danielle Denueve, “Little Angel Puss” revolves around a teenager’s exploration of her sexuality, moving from the seduction of her boyfriend, to sharing an orgasm with her best friend to, finally, being initiated into orgies at the hands of an older, “Big Daddy.”
Joan Devlon, Mira Vane, Sharon Thorpe and Susan Catherine star in this sexually charged coming-of-age film.
VCX‘s Cal-Vista Classics line will continue to deliver adult’s most treasured movies in March, including the award winning “The Joy of Fooling Around,” shot on the Greek island of Mykonos and featuring a rare performance by the incredibly sexy and beautiful Monique DuPrez, described as, “unquestionably the hottest, most vivacious, erotic sex-symbol you’ve ever seen on the screen… period!”
Sutton added, “This is the most incredible library never to be released on DVD in existence! We’ve just touched the surface here!”
