Max Hardcore Found Guilty on 10 Counts
The jury in the Max Hardcore obscenity trial returned a guilty verdict on Thursday on 10 of the 20 counts Hardcore was indicted on. His company, MaxWorld Entertainment was also found guilty on 10 related counts.
The jury struggled with half of the obscenity charges Hardcore was indicted on.
“If we make a decision on 10 of the 20 counts, but are unable to reach a decision on the other 10, will the 10 counts that we decide on stand?” the jury foreman asked Judge Susan C. Bucklew this afternoon, just after 3 p.m. EST. The judge answered that the decisions they returned would stand, even if other counts were undecided.”
After the trial, Hardcore said he was fine.
“As I said in closing argument, I believe that this prosecution was shameful,” attorney Jeffrey Douglas told AVN. “And as Max Hardcore said, this is a sad day for America. It’s a deeply sad day for him personally, but also for all of us.”
Sentencing will begin on September 5. Hardcore may potentially face up to 5 years in prison and $250,000 fine for every count of conviction.

Max Hardcore definitely pushed the limits in his videos. Is it a constitutional issue? … is it a moral issue? I guess the people will decide with time just how far someone can go on video.
