Sex.com Radio Hits the Airwaves in May on XM Satellite Radio
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Sex.com, the number one domain in the world, is pleased to announce the launch of the Sex.com “We Do It On Air” Radio Show, which will commence a regular schedule of original programming in May for broadcast on XM Radio’s National Lampoon Channel (#154).
Sex.com Radio will first offer a weekly show that will offer XM Radio listeners 60 minutes of adult orientated love, relationship, and – of course – sex related entertainment guaranteed to keep the listeners coming back for more. The show also will be available for viewing on Sex.com, and long-term plans consist of a major expansion of the schedule to include a variety of original daily live programming.
“We’re thrilled to finally begin production of our Sex.com radio show,” Escom LLC CEO Del Anthony said. “We want to thank Kent Emmons and all of the NLRN staff for letting us play on their channel, and we look forward to providing some of the sexiest, funniest and most entertaining shows available on satellite radio.”
The Sex.com Radio show features co-hosts Jason Stuart and Ciara Parsons as they welcome a miscellaneous mix of special guests into the studios for an hour of provocative radio. In addition to interviews with the sexiest, most interesting people in show business, the show will also entertain XM audiences with news, comedy and regular features culled from the bent minds of the show’s hosts:
Jason Stuart – fresh off of a headlining gig at Harrahs in Las Vegas – is a leading stand-up comedian who has been making people laugh out loud since 1993. Jason’s material about his experiences as a single Jewish gay man living in Hollywood is original, cutting edge and just plain funny. He is also a well known actor who has appeared in over 80 popular TV shows, including Will and Grace, Everybody Hates Chris, House, M.D. and Charmed.
Ciara Parsons has been active in the entertainment field for over twenty years – beginning when she was headlining plays at the age of nine. She has created a name for herself in the adult space with a popular video podcast that showcased adult talent, and is a graduate of a prestigious University with a BA in Communications.
“The combination of Jason’s comedic talent and Ciara’s understanding of the adult space should make for great banter, and in turn, great radio,” stated Anthony.
Sex.com News Director Tom Hymes said the team would be working hard to develop its own programming, but he also encouraged creative types to pitch show ideas to Sex.com.
“Because we’re on the NLRD, it makes sense for us to develop programming that is both comedic and erotically-charged,” he said. “But that shouldn’t be a problem, because everyone knows that funny people are by definition sexy. So throw off your inhibitions and send in some ideas, because the new kids in town are on XM.”
